The market is bleeding, LPs are fleeing, and into this vacuum drops a number that whispers where everyone should hide. That alone is reason for suspicion. This figure is not a conclusion. It is the beginning of a forensic examination. And the deeper I dig, the more it resembles a high-water mark of an old paradigm rather than the dawn of a new one.
OFT — the Omnichain Fungible Token standard — is LayerZero's answer to the wrapped-token fragmentation that has plagued multi-chain DeFi since the summer of 2020.
